Bon Voyage, Robin!

Lindberg Field (San Diego Airport)

I took Robin Reid to the airport today as he started
his month in Australia and New Zealand. I'm envious of
the trip, but it's going to be fine -- he loaned me his
Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS and 2x extender while he's gone.

I know the exposure could be improved, but darn it, Robin
wouldn't stand still or give me a minute to make my
adjustments. He kept moving and so I did the best I could.

(Note to self: It's a poor photographer who blames his subjects.)

Gary... many thanks for the lift. You did great with this given the material you had to work with.
It is good to be here in Auckland and in a hotel (which btw has a wireless connection!!!_)

You cannot expect him to stand still when he's heading to the best place in the world...and I don't mean New Zealand ;>)

You got a fun pic of a good friend off on an adventure of a lifetime-can't expect him to be still for a second... tho with a 24?? hour flight he may be screaming to get off the plane...
