Blue

Just food coloring in a wine glass. I have SOOOO much to learn
about lighting. This was natural light but I'm only so-so pleased
with the result. I addjusted brightness and contrast quite a bit,
after doing levels. Suggestions for improvement are welcome!

Based on Herb's suggestion below, I reshot with my DRebel,
posting that shot here: http://www.pbase.com/image/32426310

Which is better?

other sizes: small medium original auto

I would say this is more artistic, I like it, but I like the red one better.

About the composition I`d rather this one. And with this compisition I agree with Robin about the glass base.

In the other shoot is better the clear of the whole image and the reflect Looks great.

The blue is a superb color. Guess you've heard about the base. But I do like the hint of the bottom of the glass melting into the white. Does that make sense?

I like the perspective & color here, but I agree with everyone about the base. The red shot is phenomenal!

Love the blue!!

I agree w/Herb ...and I would have liked for the base of the glass to look like the glass. (May require masking in PS)
Otherwise it is quite lovely and good dof.

I'm having enough trouble just doing a good glass of regular wine. (On the other hand, I think I had a glass of that blue stuff last night.:()
