This fellow wanted to accompany me on my
walk. When he discovered I had nothing to feed him, he
abandoned me quicker than...well, very quickly.

Duck, duck, GOOSE, your it!! :-) Sorry, had to say it, it is the first thing that came to my mind. Yup, still a kid at heart. No food for him?? Awwww, I keep a big bag of cracked corn in my car just in case, yup, I'm weird! You captured this one wonderfully, nice detail in the white, which is very hard to focus on.
