Peavine Peak

In between the storms. We've had 10-12 ft. floodwaters, and 15-20 ft. snows
up in the Sierras. Today has been a beautiful, if chilly day and a time to regroup.
This is Peavine Peak, elevation 8,269 feet, a mountain to the northwest, taken from my
back yard. It is said locally that you mustn't plant vegetables before all the snow
is gone from this mountain. (That's usually May, but sometimes June.)
