Half a bottle of Merlot and a dying rose...

My 70-200 f/4 IS and my Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 are in Boston this week, at the
Photoshop Conference. Let's just say a certain someone borrowed them to show
off to her camera-geek friends or something. Sigh.

I'm "forced" to rely on my 60 f/2.8 macro or my 85 f/1.8 to get some shots.

Life is hard sometimes.

Speaks volumes of your relationship (the lens borrowing that is) :-)

Makes one be more creative when forced to work without their favorites. You did great on this!

LOL at Scott's, I like the composition very much.
And to paraphrase a proverb..."Half a bottle is better than none" :)

I could better stand this hard life, If I had half bottle of Merlot like you...
who cares about the rose.

Better than half a rose and a dying bottle of Merlot.

This is a great shot. She'll have a blast at Photoshop World.

Oh, but you love her anyway!!!

Wow, this is fabulous. "Tis better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all"; just a quote I thought of for tomorrow's challenge (meaning your camera.)
Robin Reid26-Mar-2009 02:09
You got excellent results. And I'll be interested in hearing her report on Photoshop World.
