I threw the afghan over the leather chair to cover cat scratches which happened "innocently" while Louie and Beegie were trying to escape from Ricky's taunting. Ricky seems to think this is a very good idea. There were reflections on his fur from the reds beneath him so I selected the white areas, excluding the eyes and desaturated the red. Also desaturated a bit of cyan that I saw in the white fur, as well. Taken with my Tamron macro lens, which is also excellent for portraiture. m Handheld. You'll note that the eyes aren't as much in focus as the nose...that's probably due to shallow depth of field from the large aperture.
