Made duplicate layers and used Gaussian Blur on the background, brought through blurred background. Used Noise Ninja to reduce the noise. That wasn't enough so I tried a bit of buZZ Simplify and brought through eyes and mouth with a layer mask. Still noisy. Used Noise Ninja again with settings on 12. Darkened perimeter.
