When I was 18 I worked for the Speedwriting School in Manhattan. It was associated with the Nancy Taylor School of Modeling. One of the owners of the school, a very classy European lady who always dressed impeccably told me that soft pencils make great eyebrow pencils. I've been using one ever since. It's interesting to note (and also sad for me) that I kept the original pencil I had bought in 1958 and used it up till about a year ago when it disappeared. I was figuring I was going to use it till I died! By the way, when I went to the art supply store to buy this pencil the clerk told me that I was not the first person to buy a soft pencil for eyebrow use!
