A few years ago we had this wall built so we could bring in fill dirt to create a flatter backyard on our very steeply sloped property. It was at the top of this wall that my husband stood with a hose sprinkling the underbrush to hold back the fire from our neighbor's out-of-control brush fire, which was rapidly climbing the slope.
