P1010574 Backlit cyclamen gets lab mode treatment

I was struck by the beauty of these backlit blossoms and grabbed a camera to capture them, but there was a very unfortunate glare off the mirror to the left of the plant and from overexposed light coming through the front door sidelights, so I had to severely crop the image. Decided to try a lab mode color "pop" treatment that Judith shared, (via Jeanne, I think). Here are the steps:
1. Convert image to Lab Mode
2. Duplicate layer
3. Go to channels, lightness channel
4. Filter>Other>High Pass Sharpening on Lightness Channel
5. Back to lab channel on layers palette, Blend Mode - soft light
6. convert back to RGB. Do not flatten
I decided to go a bit further and tried the Topaz Simplifier beta plug-in on this. The color was quite intense from the lab treatment, so I desaturated it a bit.
Final touch was a bit of sandstone texture.

That is not only a beautiful capture but the creative steps you used are wonderful! What presets are you using in Topaz?
