This cafe sign was orginally put up by the owners of "The Pig Pen" Cafe, Wilber and Nadine Conners...It was a successful Cafe and local gathering spot in Porterville for years. I'm not sure of exact dates, but I know it was opened in the 40's and still around till the early 60's.
