Boeing Stearman PT-17 Kaydet

First flown in 1934, it became the main basic trainer for both the US Army and Navy during World War 2.

After the war it has been used for many duties such as crop dusting and others. You can see it flying in many places painted in many different ways in the hands of private owners.

You may remember it from the movies “Pearl Harbor” (2001 - yes, the cheesy one with Ben Affleck) and the cartoon one “Planes” (2013)
