Restored 1919 ocean going tugboat, the 149-ft long 'John Purves' was built
as a triple reciprocating steam engine powered tugboat. Converted in 1957
to a twin screw configuration with twin EMD 12-567AS diesel engines. The tug
is docked and on display at the Door County Maritime Museum in Sturgeon Bay.
