Model A Ford Foundation Inc, (MAFFI)
Ford Model A Museum at the Gilmore Car Museum
The Ford Victoria has several distinct body stylings that led the way
in the 1931 Ford lineup. In November of 1930, the all-new Victoria body
style was introduced with a different radiator shell, lowered and slanted
windshield, and a shorter two-door body with a "bustle" in the back with
its tilted spare tire. It gave the car great pizzazz. The body was produced
by the Murray Corporation. In May of 1931, the "leatherback" was changed
to a "steelback", and several minor items such as the driver's seat adjuster
were improved.
