Yanacocha is a treeline forest on the northern slope of Volcan Pichincha at an elevation of 10,000 feet. It was recently established as a Jocotoco Foundation Reserve. A highlight of the area are hummingbird feeders along the trails that entice a wide variety of dazzling hummers. |
