This is not the same fountain as in yesterday's photograph. The fountain yesterday was at Cazenovia Park in south Buffalo. This shot today is from Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Buffalo's east side. It used to be Humbolt Park and is in an area of Buffalo that had been very beautiful. The area has changed in the last 50 years, but still a nice gathering place for people of the neighborhood.

My bicycle is in what used to be the old wading pool section of the fountain. Just cement, a bit of grass in between the cracks in the cement and a good amount of bird residue.

You sure do get around on that bike Don. Love the fountain shots. I grew up in South Buffalo, and was in that fountain many, many times as a child, they had the outdoor pools there also, when I was big enough to graduate to them, I lived in them in the summer, they had the 12 foot pool with 3 diving boards, each a different height. Do you remember them? Thanx for the memories. P.S. How do you muster the strength to ride your bike in this heat?

Good composition Don. What a shame to see the wading pond no longer utilized

Very nice, Don. This has the sense of a captured moment in time. You expect the rider to walk into the photo at any time.

Very nice shot. I love the light post and the church foreground and background. It gives the ambiance of perhaps what was. All central cities are rundown these days and could use some help.
