Most days I enjoy riding my bicycle the short 4.5 miles to the office. Even though I live in the city, I can take side streets that are very sparsely traveled in the morning and thus evade the hazards of the main traffic arteries.

This morning, for some reason I was particularly grateful for my peaceful ride and stopped for this shot.

Sometimes, the best part of my day is the ride!

I could imagine easily back in the old days some horses pulling wagons through this street. Women who walk on a sunday morning aside their husbands in beautiful long dresses. Do not ask why I picture this, but it is a very peaceful image.
