In March I took a similar shot and called it On Time. The contrail was always there at 6:50 every moring and I thought them to always be On Time. This morning at 6:45 I came out and the sky looked as you see it here. Then I thought, man alive, all this time I thought they were on time when they were actually running a tad late. This morning they were On Time. They never could have been early, could they?

LOL, funny Don, but believe it or not, yep, they can be early, my son's flight last week was early, as a matter of fact as we sat at the red light in front of the airport, his plane flew over us, my hubby says, that must be Justin's plane, I said, no way, they are never early, LOL. By the time we got parked and into the airport, there he was, so it does happen once in a blue moon. :-)

Very nice colors and capture. It's so great when the sun is bright when you get up, isn't it? Makes my day! Nice job.

A contrail does what a contrail has to do...!! Superb frame indeed, Don.

Spectacular view. I love your framework here as well, because it really benefits your image. I think it gives it even more dimension and emphasis the perspective even more. Great work.

I remember the earlier shot. And I like the suggestion about roosters. Anyhoo...good shot, and (guess what?) great frame!!! LOL

Great shot Don. Sounds like an iffy way to keep time in the morning though. Have yoiu considered getting a rooster? :o)
