On the 20th of June Two of the young birds were still in the nest, but this one was hopping from the nest and out to branches about 10 feet from the nest. Head feathers are more noticeable, and the tail is about 2 inches long. Approaching too close to the nest at this point could result in the birds jumping from the nest too soon.
