Last week I looked in a forgotten corner of an old barn, and a back vulture flew out the window upon my approach. On the floor I found large very Ovate greenish eggs with distinctive dark brown splotches. There was no nest at all. This week I returned to find two babies sitting together on the floor. The mother tried to regrgitate putrid slime on me, but I moved. She was very protective, so I left after taking a few quick pictures from about 6 feet away.
