Driver?

So the divorce has been done for 5 days now.
I'm sure everyone was wondering what my first purchase would be.
Even MY bet was on the FTI driver by Calloway.
I used Robin's down at the FHO tourny at Foxwoods.
It is like swinging a sandwich on a stick.
I did not have much control of it, but I sure hit it far.
I thought it would be a fun golf club to play with.
However, as I was really thinking about it,
I figured out part of my problem with golf.
I really start having problems with my hip after about 7 holes.
Anybody who knows me well knows the reason why (and it is not pretty).
The thing I realized is that fixing that would help me more than any golf club.
Building up strength in my hip will add endurance and cut down the pain (I hope).
I have 5 months until golf season starts.
5 months to build up to it and be ready.
My golf season was ruined by the divorce this year.
Now I am putting work into the bank so that next year is the best of my life.
I am already in training camp for next year.
I don't think I will beat Russ or anything,
but at least I will be able to keep up.

Day 5, Dave Alive!

I guess that means I am doin fine because I am looking forward to the next year.
And yes, a lot of thought was given to what type of machine to get.
The elliptical seemed to give the best workout without the
jarring of the joints of a treadmill and bikes are boring.
This seemed the best for my golf swing.
I will find out if I was right in about 5 months.
