I'll keep posting right out of the camera

This is with the 18-105 kit lens.
This really was just a snapshot.
I was out on a hike at West Hill Dam.
This camera really does some interesting things with color.
I have not quite settled on settings yet.
I have been sliding the saturation all over the place.
Testing out different picture controls and exposures.
The Active-D lighting is still pretty interesting to me.
I'll need to post some high contrast shots to really show it.
