Prince Rupert, Canada
Prince Rupert, Canada
A quiet port town that had dreams of being another Seattle or Vancouver.
Pike Island Trail
Serene and beautiful. The trail was lined with huckleberries. The guide described that every so often a tree would just fall over.

Off to Work
This was taken in the early morning on the way into port. The mist hanging around the islands was ever changing and gives a certain air of mystery.
Islands in Chatham Sound
Taken on our way to Pike Island; the Archipelago islands were all sizes and looked like bonzai displays.

Sign & Clouds
The crass sign against the dramatic clouds and sublime beauty of the place struck me as odd and interesting at the same time.
Petroglyph-1
The indians would carve these and then place them face down again on the beach.
Petroglyph-2
Could have been for a relative lost at sea
Fishermen
I wasn't sure what they were loading, but it was an interesting scene.
Blue Wall

Fish Crates
Utilitarian plastic crates held a certain order admidst the chaos of the docks.

Excellent photos. The petroglyphs are fascinating, I've never seen anything like them.
