These are my very first "test shots" on the Nikkor 45-P lens that I got on July 14. I took these photos out in back of the house, trying to get a feel for how this lens renders a scene. Overall, I found it a useful focal length on 1.5x digital, particularly for close-in shooting, where the manual focusing seems to be the easiest to acheive with accuracy...at distances greater than about 2 meters, this lens has hair-trigger focusing with a VERY fast helicoid rate,and I had some problems pulling accurate focus the farther away I got from my subjects.
