testing a 20+ year old 300/4.5 ED~IF and EXIF & metering reporting and out of focus background rendition. I shot this with the 300 f/4.5 set to wide-open,and notice that the OOF highlights are rendered perfectly round. There is not even a hint of a multi-bladed diaphragm shape to the out of focus highlights.
