This is a cropped image from a horizontal original......man,I love this camera. I shot this at 70mm at 1/1600,from a very close range. I cropped out the rear standard on the right hand side,in order to get a larger face,and still include the rooftops of the buildings in the background. Rooftops and the baseball net structure around home plate,seen in the background, helps convey height in vaulting images. Still, I might like to re-think this image, but I wanted to show that you can throw away 40% of a D2x image and still arrive at a decent shot when you need to hack a horizontal into a tall shot.
