The 300mm f/4 AF-S is a sharp lens,as this 1000-pixel wide JPEG web reduction from a Fuji S2 RAW capture shows. Look at the excellent definition on the water droplets caused by this adult Canada goose landing on a local river. The S2's center AF focusing patch caught this bird just as it was landing under very bright,springtime conditions. Good focusing really.
