It has proven itself DEADLY when fished right around four blade lengths behind the Hot Spot 11-inch flasher on 40-pound test fluorocarbon leader material. I've had good luck running the same spoon 39 to 44 inches behind the Kone Zone large flasher with UV tape hooked directly by snap and bead chain swivels to the rear line-attachment on the Luhr Jensen #2 Deep SIx diver, in chrome or semi-transparent chartreuse.
On 20# mono, this diver runs approximately 1 foot deep for every 2-foot "pull" of line off of the reel.
