DSC_3677_DeadBrokeRanch.JPG

Dead Broke Ranch owner walks his "lead mare" with her foal at her side,to allow them into a new pasture area. The other animals follow the lead mare. Shot from mid-way down a hill with my trusty 50-135mm f/3.5 Zoom-Nikkor lens...my 77-212mm "digital equivalent lens" at probably around 65mm or so. I like this image, even though it might be a tad bit underexposed. This was part of a payed shoot I did for this rancher/horse breeder for a promotional piece he was doing, and was done at the proverbial "last second". I had 3 hours to shoot and made about 600 photos, which had to be done in two days' time to meet his printing deadline. A surprising number of paint horse lovers bought prints of this image.
