On this day, I managed to land our boat's only two keeper salmon, which were chinooks of 9 pounds and 15 pounds, both of which I caught using herring and a Deep Six diver. One fish was caught at 60 pulls, the second larger fish was caught at 65 pulls, and both came from The Coalmines area, and were caught under bright, sunny morning sky conditions.
