This is a flatbed scan,showing the pancake-style Nikkor 45mm f/2.8 P-series lens at the top right, along with its special silver lens cap,and the 45-P's special lens hood and silver-framed Nikon clear protective filter at the bottom of the frame. The lens cap, lens,and the filter are finished in a very fine-grained, stippled type finish that is different from other Nikkor lenses. The 45-P is a manual focusing lens that comes from the factory with a CPU, so that it works with modern autofocus Nikon bodies. The lens has high sharpness, and excellent bokeh, as well as good resistance to flare and ghosting.
