Can´t help being impressed by the variety and multitude of shots. Are there some F!€ Tomcats theres ? And probably no JAS Gripen!

I loved that place. Cader was/is a great climb and a terrific location. Can't do it now - arthritis and age grr. Always enjoyed the jets, especially when driving up the pass and they were below road level. Never got any photos (too poverty stricken at the time), so I envy you guys who can do it now. Good luck and keep it up, there are still some great shots to be had I am sure.

SUPERB pics. I've spent a lot of time in the mach loop area lately and recently did the 3 Welsh Peaks for Help for Heroes. Nice to see some recognition of our Aircrew doing what they have always done best since Rhubarbs and the Dams, in low. RB1

Hi Derek, myself and a friend are currently in rotary wing training and will be flying around the Eastern and Northern sides of the mach loop tomorrow at around 10:30 in a DHFS squirrel helicopter. I watched the video to get an idea of the sound. It just does work. There is no way you can reproduce the volume with any home sound system.
Watch a film with Mr Eastwood shooting a .44 magnum pistol, quite impressive.
Then stand in a room beside someone shooting a real one.
I was deaf in one ear for 2 hours, and heard ringing noises all day.

This is so awesome. When do the aircraft fly? Is there a regular flight time ie month day etc. I would so love to enjoy the spectacle but would need to know when is the best time.

I do hope you can provide some sort of answer to this as I know my father and brothers all keen aviation enthusiasts and photographers would think this was the best thing ever !!
