L48 shot down by Lieutenant L P Watkins in a BE12 (after sustaining hits from at least three other aircraft) crashed at Holly Tree Farm, Theberton, Nr Saxmundham, Suffolk, on 17th June 1917 on its first operational sortie. Three survivors.
