The Cefn railway viaduct carries the Birmingham/Chester tracks over the valley of the River Dee, near Llangollen.
Built in 1848 with additional work in 1858 it is perhaps the lesser known of the two crossings of the river here the other being the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct built in 1805 that carries the canal. Now classed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
