I have had a very "interesting" day driving the artic today on the frozen compacted snow and ice. Not made any the easier by the fact that the front axle brakes were binding. This picture of the glowing red hot brake disc was taken after the mechanic had been out, slackened off the brakes and disconnected the ABS sensors from the front axle. BTW the truck was MOT'd 48 hours previously.
