This image of Lochnagar from the top of Morven was taken about two weeks ago...a cold day but a relatively weak weather system was deflected either side of the hill and I was dry yet witnessed heavy rain at either side....yesterday 17th May 2012 myself and my oldest son went up Morven, about 20000ft visibility was dependent upon the dog and it was scary.... by 2850 ft I new where I was but was also completely disorientated by the xtreme conditions...Although properly kitted out, we had to hunker down for two hours in blizzard conditions....today my face looked like it had been sand blasted and I feel like my son looks...
