Situated just a stone throw away from Edinburgh Castle.
I worked here for a short spell in the 1970's when it was a Government Office.
A second smaller cannonball is lodged in a wall at the opposite end of the building.
Tourist guides will tell you it was fired from the Castle during the siege of Leith.
In reality it was cemented into the wall to strengthen crumbling stonework!
