Copenhaver Castle
The Copenhaver Castle is a private home located on the south side of Camelback Mountain. The 8,000 sq. ft. residence features medieval Moorish architecture and was built on five acres of the mountain over a twelve-year period by Phoenix orthodontist, Dr. Mort Copenhaver, during the 1970s. This photo was taken at 140mm (FF) from the Echo Canyon Trail slightly below the summit.
