GPS 2F-9 (Delta 4) March 25, 2015

March 25, 2015 - A United Launch Alliance Delta 4 rocket launches from Launch Pad 37B, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station at 2:36p.m. EDT. On board is the U.S. Air Force's ninth Block 2F navigation satellite for the Global Positioning System. The rocket flew in the Medium+ (4,2) configuration with two solid rocket boosters.

First image was taken about 1hr before launch while weather was relatively clear. At launch time, a strange fog rolled in and rocket was barely visible on the pad.

Photos taken from NASA causeway - about 3 miles away.
