July 19, 2008, Mahoningtown, PA. The Beaver-Lawrence Railway Historical Society today reached a milestone in their restoration of their Brookville Rail Bus. The engine (a Hercules 4-cylinder diesel) which had undergone an off-frame rebuild has now been reunited with the bus's frame, which has also been thoroughly restored. A number of members and friends were on hand for the event, which went very smoothly, with no problems encountered.
