If you're looking for my photos of the famous Milford Sound, they're the darkest shots here below. This popular tourist spot turned out to be my biggest disappointment, not only because it was raining there all day (the sailor said half of the year it rains there), also the most spectacular spot was only the 3 mountains lining up facing the pier before you start the cruise. They are the trade mark of Milford Sound. All the nice photos you see online were more or less taken from only one angle. It was a whole day round trip from Queenstown, and the heavy rain wasted the whole day. After the first 45 minutes of the boat ride, I saw many tourists falling asleep on the benches, not even bothering to go to the deck to get themselves and their cameras wet in order to get a shot they were not happy with.
