During my only full day in Auckland I was with the tour in the morning, and it was raining. In the afternoon, thanks to my friends Gerald and Alice who live there and who were so nice to show me Viaduct Harbour, the University of Auckland and the Mission Bay, I got to see these places that were not included in the tour itinerary. I was also lucky for it became very sunny in the afternoon. Everything looked perfect under the clear blue sky.

Towards the early evening I went up the Sky Tower for a panoramic view of the city and the harbour. The view was pretty, but the windows were very dusty, hence there were not too many photos I could use.
