It was my very first solo trip to Europe—not as part of an organized tour, nor accompanied by a friend.
I was also carrying my first DSLR-the Nikon D100, which was the very first model in Nikon's DSLR, I think.
I flew to Brussels, and from there, I took the train to Bruges and Ghent.
I didn’t expect to see a wedding photo shoot. Since I had no schedule to keep, I stayed to admire the magnificent vintage car as well as the charming bride, and her one-of-a-kind wedding dress.
I couldn’t resist taking a picture. Just as the photographer bent down to switch equipment, the groom signaled to me that I was welcome to keep taking pictures of them.
(Continued on the next photo).
