Located on the waterfront of the Island of Holmen in central Copenhagen, it is one of the most modern opera houses in the world, also one of the most expensive opera houses ever built, at a cost of 2.5 billion DKK (approx. 370,000,000 USD)
Architect: Henning Larsen, who is internationally known for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
