Wounded Digicam.jpg

Tonight I thought it would be nice to go see the launch at the Hot Air Balloon Festival. When we got there, it started raining. Since I have longer legs and walk faster, she gave me the cameras to take back to the car. We did have a bag for each of them so they would not get wet. Only I when I opened the door to put them in the car, I dropped hers and it hit the door sill and broke the mode selector knob. Everything works ok, but it needs sent back for repair. Hopefully I can talk her into trading and using the A1 while the Oly gets repaired. Since I paid $10 for the opportunity to get soaked and wound a camera, I thought I would take a photo of the wounded camera as my PaD so as not to totally waste my $10. :)

Yes, Mel has a frilly pink lens cap retainer (pony tailer) on her camera. :)

Such things happen...unfortunately.

Ouch... but is that a pink frilly lens cap I spy there?

Nice EMT work on the poor baby, until the real docs can help!

Bummer. I sort of know how you feel. My Westie got hold of the first digicam I ever owned, a Kodak DC 290, and chewed the eyepiece off of it. I was none too pleased at the time.

LOL. Yes Carmen I shot it.

Doesn't sound like a good day, Demmy. Good luck with the digicam, and it's owner.

Sad sad story but oh what a fine job of bandaging you have done.
Randu10-Jul-2004 01:33
OH NO! You should take it to ER!
Carmen10-Jul-2004 01:29
Nooooooo! So you decided to "shoot" it and put it out of its misery?
Guest 10-Jul-2004 01:26
OH NO! I think mine may be on it's last leg....so I can sympathize!!
