That is pretty amazing. The last officially accepted sighting of a Spruce grouse in the area was 1979 by Sam Robins. I have looked in the area Sam had seen birds many times but have not seen signs. I have heard from others since you sent photographes to Greg that there have been other unconfirmed reports on the east side of the Brule. I had recieved link in the middle of June but had seen three sharptial dancing off Bingo Rd on June 8th until I looked at the picture more closely I thought they were taken in mid June. Were you the person who saw and photgraphed a kirtlands in this area the year before?
