I never thought I would say this, but it is possible to have too much lens. I was at Squaw Creek and this eagle came swooping by. I was shooting snow geese out in the middle of the lake and I had my 300mm with the 1.4 TC on the camera. This image is full frame, no cropping. Somehow I got lucky and fit the entire eagle in the image without clipping any feathers.
