My guess is this bison baby is less than 24 hrs old...
the heartbreaker in this image is the mother had a
badly injured hind leg, putting weight on only 3 legs.
Mom and baby were far from the rest of the herd. This is
the most critical survival period for the young
buffalo in Yellowstone. I only hope these two
don't become prey...
