With two of my close friends and.............

This was a very interesting young man to photograph. He was a member of a large family group we were photographing. But this boy was a natural in front of a camera so I took the opportunity to shoot a view extra photos just of him. By the way, he is 10yrs old, a staight A student taking college level courses. When I asked him what he wanted to do as an adult, he replyed he would be a dancer and/or an actor. No doubt he will be sucessful at whatever he chooses.

This boy and some of his friends were hitting a beach ball back and forth. I had hoped to catch the ball just over the boys head as he hit it...obviously that didn't happen. But when this came out of the camera and I looked at it, it looked to me like the boy was put in the picture after the fact. Look at the shadow under the fingers of the hand that is in the air and along the forearm, not likely places to have that kind of a shadow. The only thing I have done to this photo is resize and sign it, so can someone tell me how I got that shadowing? Any help appreciated.

The "challenge" word is Masculine. This is one of my husbands pipes, I propped the darn thing up in a shot glass, I couldn't find any tobacco for it so I kept dropping matches into the bowl and then I'd grab my camera, focus and shoot. Used a blue filter
