Broken Parking Meter

Gettysburg, PA

Had to take this picture because of the story!
If you visit and park in the downtown square of Gettysburg,
remember to take a roll of dimes with you.
1 dime = 10 minutes
1 Quarter = 20 minutes
Now I know I have been out of school for a very, very, very,
long time – but is this what they are calling the “New Math”?
p.s. – I had more quarters then I did dimes – go figure!

But parking meters are not electric, they're basically wind-up timers on poles. So this is a picture of ___________?

Did you break it trying to get your change from the quarter?

I think you went down to Charles Town and played the slots and put in a couple of tokens by mistake

Dan, a city Bigwig would not be doing extended parking with his wife...that would be his secretary! ;o)

This is a fun shot! I will make sure that I take those dimes!

Here it's a quarter for 12 minutes and a dime will get you 5.
Nickels get you about enough time to search for the other
spare change under your seats.
Wait till some City Bigwig who has only quarters, decides to do
a little extended parking with his wife.

Nice shot but as you know you can't fight city hall. Don't even try.
